Vanished at the Finish

In 2015, Gianclaudio Marengo, a recovering drug addict from Italy, mysteriously vanished at the finish line of the New York City Marathon. His disappearance made the news all over the world, but the real story of how he got to New York and what happened after is stranger than fiction.

Vanished at the Finish recounts Gianclaudio's odyssey in New York, and his life of drugs and recovery that got him there. The result is a film that sheds light on the long road to drug recovery and the power of friendship, running and perseverance.

The film was an official selection at numerous festivals including the Sport Film Festival, Hells Half Mile Festival and NewFilmmakers Los Angeles. It also features narration from "Sons of Anarchy" and "Luke Cage" star Theo Rossi.
